What led me here?…

Hey ya’ll! My name is Tamra but you can call me, Tam. This is a little about what led me to embark on this photography journey.

In my 35 years on this planet, I have claimed the role of many titles. Daughter, sister, friend…wife, teacher, mother…believer, introvert, stay at home mama. But now, I am utilizing my gifts, talents, interests, and creativity to assume the role of, photographer!

I am so incredibly thankful for this photography journey, one that I've cultivated into my own. It is so exciting getting to share my services with others, like you! Photography is actually something I have been interested in and dabbling in for many years!

Despite not always having the confidence to share my creativity with others, I have always truly enjoyed beautiful things and expressing my creativity in various art forms. Doing things like singing, writing, painting, designing, creating videos, and even taking and editing pictures! As a kid, I remember having multiple disposable film cameras and at one point in time, I even had a cute little Barbie camera that I used often! Over the years and with advances in technology, my camera equipment changed and soon enough I discovered the world of digital photo editing. In recent years, I have taken and edited many pictures for a number of people; including family, friends, and acquaintances. However, I never felt like I had the courage to do so professionally… Until I finally took the leap of faith! Since doing so, this journey has allowed me to express my creativity, create lasting relationships with amazing people that I wouldn't have had the opportunity to meet otherwise, and ultimately, it has allowed me to use my God given gifts to serve others!

The past year and a half for me and my family, have been a time of transition, reflection, discovery, and growth as we welcomed our second babygirl, Adelynn. She is our precious rainbow baby! With her arrival, I took extended time away from my business to be fully present in both of my girls lives. With navigating the baby stages again, as well as, beginning a homeschool journey with my oldest, the past 2 years have brought beautiful change. But even admits the changes, I never stopped using my camera and have continued to hone in on my craft. In time, with rest and renewal, all of these life changes have brought back my need for fulfillment and desire for expression of who I really am and what I truly cherish and value. I have discovered an even deeper sense of ambition and confidence to share pieces of me that I never believed I could due to fear of rejection or failure. But thankfully, in time, I have discovered a willingness to once again, tap into my creativity and share it with others! I am stepping back into the light and ready to shine once again, revealing the God-given gifts that I have been blessed to possess. My goal is to use these gifts to serve and bless others. To be a light in this dark world and leave my mark. I can't wait to have the opportunity to serve you and your family!
